How we helped a medical entrance exam preparation Institute to triple its leads and lower the cost per lead by 40%

One of the renowned institutes in India for medical entrance exam preparation with its presence in 20+ cities.
Obstacles
The client had two major problems. First, they were not getting the desired number of leads, and the cost per lead was too high.
Second, there was ongoing lockdown in many cities, so most of the parents were concerned about the quality of education via online classes.
What We Did
We narrowed our targeting and focused on Tier-1 & few Tier-2 cities where online classes were more acceptable to keep the lead quality in place. We launched the ads leveraging the existing data and targeted look-alike audience
The ads included interviews and testimonials from kids who had cracked the entrance exam. The ads were in both English & Local Languages targeted separately.
We did a lot of testing with the creatives. We tested at least 1-2 creatives per week to understand the best-performing ads.
Apart from that we created a highly convertible landing page and created a two-step form to get highly qualified leads. This alone helped the client save lots of money and resources:

The Result
Tripled their lead generation from 40-50 to 120-130 leads per day.
The Cost Per Lead (CPL) was lowered by 40%. It was previously ₹150-180. We lowered it to less than ₹100 in the first month of running ads itself.
We did remarketing and got cheaper leads for them consistently. The total cost was reduced by more than ₹100 as the campaign progressed.
